Relationships that give children confidence
Each child has a key person who takes particular responsibility for their development, while the whole team stays involved in their day: a point of reference, never a single point of dependence.
Our staffing structure follows the applicable cantonal requirements.
A gentle beginning
We follow the Berlin settling-in model and adapt the pace to each child: a familiar family member stays as a secure base until your child feels comfortable enough. No child is rushed through their first week.
Growing up with German & English
Both languages belong to conversations, play, songs and routines, never a lesson set apart from the day. A weekly class with a language teacher is included.
Nature, movement & discovery
Running, climbing and free movement outdoors are part of everyday life here, along with regular walks and excursions. Guided movement classes are included in every place. Puddles included, which, as our own children would tell you, is the best part of the whole day.
A partnership with parents
You know your child better than anyone. Exchanges at the door and planned developmental conversations keep parents informed and genuinely included.
Food, nutrition & wellbeing
Our nutrition programme was developed with a certified specialist in children's nutrition: balanced, varied meals, cooked in the house. Dorka tried the first menus out at our own kitchen table, with two very honest critics.
