Founded by parents

A Kita founded by parents of young children who dreamt of a new kind of premium Kita — and built the one they wished existed.

Designed by educators, reviewed by psychologists

Pedagogy designed by our educators and reviewed and approved by child psychologists — built on attachment, autonomy, and holistic development.

Busy? We're planning ahead for you.

A door-to-door school bus, weekend hours at the Lumière Kids Club, and a parent co-working lounge are part of our plans as we grow — get in touch and we'll keep you posted as each one is confirmed.

Why Lumi House

More than a Kita — a place to belong.

Sunlit playroom with Pikler triangle, climbing wall and rings
Calm playroom with lake view, climbing ladder and soft seating
Children's cubby and coat area with named baskets

Bilingual immersion (DE / EN)

Educators native in each language work with the children daily, alongside colleagues who speak the second language as non-native speakers — plus a professional language teacher once a week. Children acquire both naturally, never forced.

Educator-designed, psychologist-reviewed

Curriculum designed by our educators and reviewed and approved by child psychologists. Built on attachment, autonomy and self-efficacy.

Lumi school bus & drop-off

Door-to-door pickup and afternoon drop-off from Küsnacht, Herrliberg and surrounding villages — planned as we confirm staffing and approvals.
